TREASURES OF MEMORY & HOPE AT
UNIVERSITY OF MINNESOTA
We are excited to announce that the Treasures of Memory & Hope will be displayed at the University of MN from October 1-9 hosted by The Center of Holocaust & Genocide Studies in cooperation with St. Sahag Armenian Church.
“The exhibit serves as a kickoff for the Center’s yearlong “Bridges of Memory” project, a yearlong endeavor aim of this project is to bring together communities in the Twin Cities to address histories of mass violence, communal memory, and resilience. Communities will share their experiences of commemoration, education and more in small dialogues, culminating in a daylong symposium in Spring 2020 also including University students and educators. This project will give communities an opportunity to connect with one another and with the University.
Join us for the opening reception and learn more about the exciting year ahead for the Center.
This event and project were made possible with support from The Liberal Arts Engagement Hub in the College of Liberal Arts”
