Outreach Sunday

OUTREACH SUNDAY

We launched a new mission at St. Sahag on Sunday, December 9t, 2018.

At St. Sahag we believe we need to go beyond the walls of our community and Church and serve those in need around us, in our neighborhoods and town. This is why we launched a new mission at our Church to reach out and help our brothers and sisters around us. We, as a community, made about 130 sandwiches and delivered them today to the “Loaves and fishes” location at St. Matthew’s in downtown St. Paul. The entire community participated in this, even the kids by making sandwich bags with encouraging messages.

We are partnering with “Loaves and Fishes Minnesota” which is one of the largest non-profit organization in MN providing 3000 healthy meals every day to those in need.

We have committed as a community to support this mission by making sandwiches and serving to all the guests at St. Matthew’s Loaves and Fishes location in Downtown St. Paul. We purchase the ingredients from the Loaves and Fiches as well.

We would like to dedicate one Sunday every month or every two months as an “Outreach Sunday” and make the sandwiches together during the fellowship hour.

Ways you can help

1. Come & help every “Outreach Sunday” to make the sandwiches. Come with your family and children to do good and make a difference together.

2. Consider making a contribution to help this mission of our Church. Families are welcome to sponsor an “Outreach Sunday”. You will be able to reach out and help those in need with your support.
