NEW ICON OF ST. SAHAG BARTEV

On the occasion of the 10th Anniversary of Ordination of Fr. Tadeos a new icon of St. Sahag Bartev was donated to the Church and anointed by His Grace Bishop Daniel, the Primate of the Eastern Diocese. The icon is a generous gift of Chris Kachian & Jim Folley.
St. Sahag Bartev is the patron saint of our Church.
The icon was made prayerfully by the monks at the Carmelite Monastery in Lake Elmo, Minnesota.
The writing on the icon is from the book of Proverbs, chapter 1 verse 2 “for gaining wisdom and instruction; for understanding words of insight.” This verse is the first sentence translated into Armenian in the 5th century after the invention of the alphabet.
Come & see the icon this Sunday!
